Privacy Policy

Casvia is designed to be private by default. This policy is intentionally short because we collect almost nothing.

Calculations happen in your browser

Calculations are performed locally in your browser unless explicitly stated otherwise. The numbers you enter into a calculator are never sent to our servers, never saved, and never leave your device.

What we don't do

  • No user accounts, logins or registration.
  • No database of user data or calculation history.
  • No tracking scripts, analytics pixels or advertising cookies.
  • No third-party analytics services.
  • We do not sell, rent or share personal data — because we don't hold any.

Sharing calculator results

The “share” and “copy link” buttons put your calculator inputs into the page URL (for example the amount, rate and years). This link contains no personal identifying information and is not stored anywhere by Casvia. Be aware that a link alone could reveal rough financial figures if you share it publicly.

Hosting & infrastructure

The site is served as static files via GitHub Pages and a content delivery network. Serving a page can involve standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time) kept by the hosting/CDN providers for security and performance, which is normal for any website. We do not use these to identify you or build a profile.

Cookies

Casvia does not set tracking or advertising cookies. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.

Future changes

If we ever add analytics or any feature that collects data, we will update this policy first and make the change visible before it takes effect. Financial calculator inputs would never be uploaded to our servers.
